Leverage Insights vs. Analytics to drive performance optimization
Are you satisfied with your current reporting that you have at your organization? If your answer is no, or you at least paused to think, keep reading.
Your data is the driving force behind growth. And your first party data (the information you have about your customers, and extending it into your internal business operations) is your most critical asset in tough economic times.
However, too many businesses have invested in reporting dashboards that are overloaded with unused reports. They look fancy, but don’t help you make your next best business decision.
Your ability to “connect the dots” across your multiple reporting dashboards and identify insights in (and across) your business is a pathway to improved optimization and profitability
The key here is to identify key insights (aka- deeper understanding) in your business. From there, you can extrapolate the “actionable data” in your business.
Actionable data are those core drivers that lead you to areas of growth, areas to optimize, and places to eliminate inefficiency.
Some examples where you can connect the dots to find actionable data include:
· Business performance (sales and revenue growth)
· Holistic Marketing performance (demand generation into unique sales channels)
· Sales Channel Performance (Sales/close rate, revenue per sale)
Does this exercise take time, effort, and collaboration across multiple teams to connect the dots? Absolutely.
However in tough economic conditions where you need to make smarter and faster business decisions, there has never been a better time to start building a new approach to data-driven decision making.
